O’Neill is Joining Peer Review Collegium for Chinese Design Journal

Congrats are in order for Dr. María de Mater O’Neill, Head Researcher and Creative Director, whose nomination was accepted to join the Peer Review Collegium of She Ji — The Journal of Design, Economics, and Innovation. This is a new journal published by Elsevier in collaboration with Tongji University and Tongji University Press. Elsevier is one of the world’s oldest and most distinguished academic publishing firms, publisher of the journal Design Studies. Tongji University is one of ChShe Jiina’s leading universities, home to the College of Design & Innovation, and a node in the Global Design Factory Network. “I am very grateful and humbled for such a great opportunity,” O’Neill has stated.

She Ji is a peer-reviewed, trans-disciplinary design journal, whose editor-in-chief is Ken Friedman. The first issue will appear in September, 2015. Dr. O’Neill will call on her design and research experience in considering argumentation, conceptual development, and evidence in the manuscripts under her review.

He has co-organized exhibitions for Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Puerto Rico, and has collaborated with filmmaker Sonia Fritz; Amigos EAP; Museo de las Américas, and visual artists such as Myrna Báez, Víctor Vázquez, Jorge Zeno and Arnaldo Roche-Rabell.
